Bluetooth connectivity issues - Asus Strix Z270G

So, I have an Asus Z270G. The bluetooth is having a lot of trouble staying connected to individual devices.

However, the bluetooth works perfectly if I stand behind the case, or if I open the case. I'm guessing my case is interfering with the signal. I don't currently have the wifi antennas connected to the motherboard (I think I accidentally threw them away). I know on some Intel boards that bluetooth and wifi are connected... would obtaining those antennas help? Any other ideas?

Ive had Maximus Hero Alpha Z170 and all i know that without connected Areal ive had the same problem, unfortunately the areal must or should be attached..

Unfortunately I seem to have lost the antennas. Is it possible to re-order them?
