I don't know if that works for Strix or Maximus X. All of the MOBO LEDs on my brand new Maximus Hero WIFI went out. Aura crashed on install with an error message that said "Can't open AsIO.sys !! (2)". The uninstaller crashed too. I had to use CC Cleaner and REVO to get it uninstalled. Tried re-installing, tried toggling BIOS Enables OFF then back ON (per a You Tube video I found here.

Tried running the Aura flash tool that Raja posted in an Admin command windows. I get Access Denied in the command window and a pop up that says This app can't run on your PC. I have removed my Trident Z RGB RAM (which sits there running its rainbow default profile). Aura does not see the RAM or a 12VDC LED strip I plugged in. I can't think of or find anything else to do. The MOBO LEDs were lot and then then were out. I am not even sure exactly when it happened but I sospect it was when I first ran Aura. No idea why the Aura flash utility will not run. I think I am going to have to RMA the MOBO. Over LEDs. Not happy. Any ideas?
Edit - I got mine working. BEFORE unzipping the Aura download, right click the zip file, select Properties, then check the box that says Unblock. Then unzip the file and run AsusInstall as Admin. This solved my problem instantly.
