ASUS Z270F USB recognition problems with Sandisk for drivers.

Hey,
I've just built my PC and I need to download drivers. However, I've problems installing drivers on my new ASUS z270F, because it will not recognize my USB Sandisk.

I've no DVD/CD-Rom, so I'm stuck. 😞

Anyone have any ideas why it will not recognize my USB, but does recognize mouse/headset/keyboard? Anything I can do [BIOS wise]?

Yea it's completly new. Bought it today in hopes I could xfer the drives.

Can I downgrade to USB 2.0 in BIOS or something?

Have you looked inside Device Manager to see if the USB pendrive shows up there?

You can disable xHCI to disable USB 3.0 functionality.

Is it this?

It's recognized in bios it seems. However, I can't do much when I'm on desktop>computer>removable Device/drivers. As it doesn't show up.

When I look at device drivers [USB Related once], there's a red flag/triangle patched to all of them.

At least that tells us that the pendrive is fine and the motherboard is detecting.

Apparently your Windows installation isn't. What version Windows are you using?

I'm using windows 7 64-bit. I'm unsure whether I should upgrade to 8.1?

Edit: It's fixed now.

Fix: Found a working CD-drive in my basement and plugged it in :D. Used CD's provided by ASUS and fixed. Thanks for the responses.
