where you get BIOS Chip for HERO VIII or compatible boards

my system doesn't boot and I know dual boot bios was failing so i swaped out cpu it wasn't it.. forcing the bios update in the usb port and press button makes it flash but still doesn't post... so i wanna try to get a new BIOS chip
i have the Maxmimus VIII Hero... Im n Canada where do you guys get the BIOS chip as bios-chip.com doesn't have anything..

and what compatible boards could i look for that i could take the chip off and use on my current board..

Hi Comet, why do you suspect your BIOS ? not power supply defect, bent CPU pins ?
Did you try minimum system ? no grafikcard, only 1 ram stick (maybe change socket), only one sdd ?
Do you get an error code ?
Did the Bios update seem to succeed ?

Was it working before and you didn't change anything, normal settings ?

I doubt you'll be able to swap that chip.
