VIII Hero cannot detect GPU

I have Windows 10 64 bit installed and everything is running so far except for the fact I cannot detect my GPU (XFX R9 390). Here are my specs and what I have done so far.

VIII HERO
6600k Processor
XFX R9 390 GPU
Gskill 16GB Ram 2x8
EVGA 750 PSU
Fractal R5 Gaming Case
Cooler Master 212 CPU cooler

-I have updated the BIOS to 1402
-Removed GPU power cables AND Pci Slots (Currently in the middle PCI slot due to size of the GPU)
-Failed at installing drivers from the r9 cd due to it not starting at all
-Failed at installing AMD driver installation tool due to it being stuck at 2%
I will try and work on the drivers for the R9 390 but I do believe BIOS should at least detect it in a PCI slot, it says all the slots are empty.

Any troubleshooting information would help and I appreciate it.

SOLVED THE ADAPTER PIECE THAT CAME WITH THE R9 390 WAS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE GPU.

Can you test the GPU in another PC?

The fans are spinning yes and no I do not have another PC to test the unit in.

Will be GPU be detectable without the drivers installed?

Here it is installed, It acts like its not in enough because it is slightly wobbly, but Its getting stuck on some things that wont allow it to go any further. I have attached a picture so you can tell me if its seated good.

a little difficult to tell if it is fully seated but you need to resolve the issue of why it is not fully seated if that is the case before going any further, typically it is case alignment or sometimes I have had to bend the tip of the adapter plate on the end of a graphics card, the end at the back of the card with the output connectors to get it to fully seat, it typically has a slight bend on the end of it where it goes past the motherboard, I have had cases where I head to bend that straight to get it to seat fully
may be something else, just an issue I have had with several cases

I will try to bed it a bit, it does click in, however it wont fit in pci slot 1 like it reccomends, it has 3 points that are either touching plastic or the motherboard. I will try bending the metal for the output connectors to see if that will give me a few more mm's.

Check in the BIOS if the PCI-E is populated and have the right speed

Bios shows empty no matter where i have the GPU

Hello dannythedonk

If it's not showing up in the bios that could be a sign your gpu died, is there any way you can test it in another pc?

Also as mentioned above make sure it's fully seated in the pcie slot and the pcie power cables are connected.
