If ever the cpu voltage is going over what you set you can either try lowering LLC or using a negative offset to counter the overshoot.

The negative offset in adaptive mode subracts voltage when under load.
Say you set 1.20v in the bios but running a stress test it's drawing 1.275v, you'd just set a negative offset of -0.075v and this should keep your cpu at or very close to 1.20v.
