VIII GENE CPU voltage.

Hello guys,

Here is my conf.:

CPU: I7 6700K
MB: VIII GENE
PSU: CORSAIR RM850

Question is... Why my CPU working on 1,269 V being idle. It is normal or something is wrong ? I heard the standard voltage for I7 6700K is 1,2 V. In advance thanks for reply and greetings from Poland 🙂

Which version of BIOS are you running? Also try to enable EPU, this will reduce the idle CPU voltage by a good factor

There is no standard voltage. Each CPU is unique and uses a different voltage.
