Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

Hi Guys,

I'm troubleshooting an issue with one of my USB ports (14) which does not appear to be any of my actual physical USB ports. I made sure of this by plugging in a USB device in every available physical port and they all use different ports.

Using USBView I can see what the issue is but I do not know how I can fix it.
any Ideas anyone?

My best guess it would be a Asmedia USB 3 driver. So try uninstalling it and installing a different version of the Asmedia USB 3 drivers.

I have already tried that. no luck. It is strange because it is an internally assigned port and as far as I can see nothing is actually using that port. I will disable port 14 from the BIOS for now, but it irritates me I cannot fix it. OCD I suppose
