Turbo Mode 6500/Ranger VIII

I recently built my son a computer using the ranger VIII board and a I5 6500. Is there a way to enable turbo on all 4 cores? He has adequate cooling so it shouldn't be a problem running at the 3.6 ghz frequency. The MB is running the latest bios update.

ASUS MultiCore Enhancement is the option that you're looking for.

That option is currently set to auto. The only option I see for this is auto or disabled. I've also enabled the XMP profile as well.

That's correct. It should be on Auto.

Download Cinebench R15 and run the benchmark. While running the benchmark have something like CPU-Z or HWMonitor up to verify the each core's frequency.

I've run prim95/rog realbench and both will show 3.3ghz when all 4 cores are active. My expectation is based on my own build (hero VII + 4690k). When I had it running at stock, it would apply the max turbo to all 4 active cores (3.9ghz). Not sure if having a unlocked chip vs locked chip makes a difference.

Have you verified this reading with any of the programs that I mentioned in my previous post?

I haven't use Cinebench R15, but when I was running prime95/rog realbench I did use hwmonitor and cpu-z to monitor the frequency.

Can you upload a screenshot of HWMonitor or CPU-Z while your stress testing program is running?

I'll upload a screenshot when I get home. Although I tested it last night, and when all 4 cores are 100% it shows 3300. I thought the multi core enhancement would allow max turbo on all cores when 100% active. Maybe I just need to wait for a bios update or maybe it isn't feasible with this chip.
