I have an issue whereby I get no sound on Stereo Mix. I use an Edirol UA-25EX as my main sound device, however I enable set the Realtek's 'Stereo Mix' as the default input device, but I see no signal on the meters and nothing gets recorded by a simple app like sound recorder, or a fully featured DAW like Ableton Live (obviously selecting the correct device).
I had the problem before the latest W10 feature update borked my build. A complete rebuild with the latest drivers, but the problem persists. Can anyone please confirm that this works for them?
I could use an internal SW router such as Audio Banana, but would prefer to keep things simple. Any ideas? Google searches have not been helpful with a fix, so I thought I would post here.
