I installed a new graphics card and changed the position of a 4 SATA port PCI-E adapter and when I turned my PC back on, the BIOS seemed to have been reset. After reconfiguring it from memory and booting Windows I found that my RAID 0 was no longer recognised. The RAID 0 drives are connected directly to the motherboard and not to the PCI-E card.
If I go back to the BIOS and change the SATA configuation from ACHI to RAID then Windows will not boot (Windows has some hangup about this setting being changed). I can't remember what it was set to previously but I assume it was RAID since two of the connected drives (not the system drive) were in RAID. Is it possible to have two of my drives in RAID 0 whilst the SATA configuration is set to ACHI?
