PCI Memory Controller SM Bus Controller (Maximus Hero VIII)

Hi all, I reformatted my PC a couple of weeks ago (I tend to do this every year or so depending on how creeky things get! )

Usual setup, reformat my OS SSD
latest Windows 10 from the media creation tool
Install all the asus mobo drivers followed by everything else

Just noticed this morning I have Other devices with exclamation marks for

PCI Memory Controller
SM Bus Controller

88528

Had a search and referred back to reinstalling the Intel chipset drivers (which I have done from the Asus site latest being Consumer_11.7.0.1040)

Still no joy!

Understand these aren't the latest and the Asus page for this board seems to have moved recently so wondered if it was out of date I was missing something here?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi, I actually had the same issue after formatting.
I just installed asus armor crate and let it install all of the drivers and updates.
That fixed it for me.

Thanks, which motherboard are you using? Installed Crate again (as I use a Rog Claymore as well anyway) but not finding any drivers at all for the Hero VIII, so not sure if it is supported?

If it is a help to anyone reading this post I installed https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19347/chipset-inf-utility.html and it sorted the problem out on my ROG Maximus VIII Hero.

Good luck
