The only driver you need/should install if your running Windows 10 is
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/sata/Asmedia_Win7-81_V2091_Win10_Vv3160.zip?_ga=1.115079617.79...

Others are provided for you by Microsoft

Clock speed for memory with xmp enable is clocked correctly now..it was lower with older bios and now is sitting where it should be frequency wise.

I install the inf drivers and MEI and not the usb drivers. The usb drivers is coming with windows 10 and is working with no problems.

I don't trust Windows 10 with device driver updates so in advanced system settings I made sure to turn that off. Is it necessary to install the rest of these chipset drivers and what is this update for? My system is completely stable besides this issue https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/945577/geforce-1000-series/1080-sli-issue-windows-on-deskto... which I think is more of an Nvidia driver problem so I don't really wanna mess around with new chipset drivers. Currently I'm on BIOS 1701.

*Update It looks like Windows has already installed the latest MEI: V11.0.5.1189 for me
58687

Looks like I'm still on the older Chipset Version though V10.1.1.7 with the update being to Intel_Chipset_V10.1.1.27

I wish they would explain what these updates are for

In my case with all new W10 updates that came, the MEI consumer V11051189 and the chipset V101127 i install it manualy. I have no idea why did not came with the update. Even that i can not control the rad fans from the CPU OP socket and the Case FAn 3 in PWM. channel 2 and 4 are fine. Some weird stuff is going on.

And of course we'll never know what's actually new in this BIOS update, cuz ASUS changelogs only say "Improve system stability".
