Minimum CPU Fan speed lower than 60 % ?

is there anyway to lower the cpu fan speed to say 30 or 40, got a corsair hydro cooler and would like to lower the fan speeds on the radiator to a bit less as it's a bit noisy, sorted the case ones but can't lower the cpu fan, 60 % is far too high.

Go to "Qfan control" from the top menu in BIOS. Make sure you have the correct type of fan set for each fan (DC vs PWM). Run optimize all - NOTE: this will screw up any Fan RPM settings you had before. Optimize will automatically detect the lowest possible RPM's for each fan. After that you can either keep what ever the BIOS came up with or manually set what ever you want, but the possible range for the fans will be more accurate to what the fans can actually do.

Thanks I actually figured this out the other day, what a ball ache, why this isn't doable from the normal monitoring screen I have no idea, nut yes optimizing allows lower usage, thank you.
