Maximus VIII Hero - What ASUS software is worth installing?

Hey everyone,

I just installed my Maximus VIII Hero and I'm loving it so far. I installed all the core software/drivers for the board but I haven't installed ANY of the ASUS software, as I've heard people talk about having issues with some of it. Are there any of the ASUS utilities that are "must haves" or worth installing that won't cause issues?

None of them are must haves. One just install what he needs. 🙂

Install as few as possible less problems...maybe rog cpuz. Examples: aisuite 3: comp didn't shutdown and restart properly sometimes. Gamefirst: conflicts with nvidia geforce experience.

I agree with Janne-71 the less the better, the only thing I would install is Sonic Studio II and it should install automatically with the Realtek audio driver but if it doesn't, it's on the motherboard disk or you can get it from the Asus downloads page in the utilities.
