There is no such thing as OS depended BIOS. They just didn't finish upload, that's all.

Maybee you are right but Don't be so sure about that. As an owner of a Toshiba Laptop, there was a time that windows xp bios was different form a windows 7 one

Anyone knows if the skylake microcode got updated? (currently on 74 I think)
Not really feeling like changing back bios settings again except something worthwhile got updated in the bios or there being maybe some sort of performance boost.

Updated this morning.

Microcode version is 9E now. ME version is 11.6.10.1196.

Seems like there have been various changes in the BIOS.

Can anyone be kind enough to test the qfan controller in bios and make sure if it still hangs or not?
