MAXIMUS VIII GENE 3401 vcore issue

x-rated

hello,
i updated bios from 3201 to 3401, i set everything up as before and when i started cpu-z, i saw there 1,52 vcore  with same settings @ 3201 i had max. vcore 1,37V @ 5 GHz
so i reset the bios to its defaults, set everything up again according to my screenshots, entered bios to check all values again and even there was core voltage showing 1,52V  so i flashed 3201 back and vcore is ok now
what the hell went wrong? 😞
i have 7700K @ 5 GHz, LLC 5, vcore offset +0,18V, nothing special

so, the problem in bioses after 3201 is in offset voltage, it simply doesnt work as before and changing settings to approach desired voltage results in random BSODs
solution is to use adaptive voltage instead with same old settings (+0,18V)
