Hi. I have a 950 pro 512gb m.2 nvme drive and was running out of room. I got an intel 800gb u.2 nvme drive and was trying to get that going but I not see it in bios which mean windows can not see it. Are we able to use both m.2 and u.2 slots at the same time. I have two 980ti's running in sli as well.

Cant be done, its one or the other. They use the same x4 connection to the PCH and seating an M2 automatically disables the U2. Its in the manual somewhere and you can see it in the architecture.

Thanks for that. I was hoping it took different lanes, but that clears it up. Oh well. Back goes the 750 😞

Do not return the M.2, I recommend that if you want to acquire the HYPER M.2 X4 MINI CARD you can work properly your board with two SSD M.2. I have it and it is flying. SATA is dead.

Greetings.

I'm keeping the 950 pro. Just didnt know if I could keep the 750 as well. Since I'm sli I thought I may be able to use this:
https://www.cdw.com/shop/products/StarTech.com-x4-PCI-Express-to-SFF-8643-Adapter-for-PCIe-NVMe-U.2-...
on the last pci-e slot for x4 as well, or is that part of the nvme m.2 slot?

Yes, the 950 NVMe on the M.2 connection, and the 800 GB Intel NVMe will go to the PCIe x4, the adapter connector depends on whether this is U2:

Or this, M2, your hard drive:
