Is there an easy way to make sure all drivers are up to date?

I thought there was a feature within AI Suite III that allows you to search and update drivers? If that feature exist, I can't find it.

Any help is appreciated!

I have the Hero Alpha but I am pretty sure the package is the same on the asus download site (1.01.30). It is the DVD that might be different as the Extreme is a bit older than the Hero Alpha. My DVD shipped with AI Suite 1.01.28 which didn't exist at the time your motherboard was in production. Your DVD probably shipped with 1.01.25. Try uninstalling AI Suite (restart as needed) then install the 1.01.28 on Asus.com. See if that gets you EZ Update. If it does, then update to 1.01.30 from Asus.com and you will still have it. That was the sequencing I used. It shouldn't matter but perhaps there is a bug or quirk. No such thing as software without bugs these days.

Yay.

That.

I uninstalled then tried going straight to 1.01.30 which is the latest on asus.com. No EZ Update. So... bug in 1.01.30 confirmed and workaround confirmed. 🙂

just run install of AI Suite 3 1.01.28 with 1.01.30 already installed, you can choose to only install EZ Update. just won't get the latest EZ Update version though.

I would ignore this. I did that to see if it works and it installs but it also overrights some core files and causes incorrect values to be reported and I then had intermittent issues with long shutdown. Stick with the proper order and all is well (f you want EZ Update).
