Intel Core i7 6700K Voltage & Asus Maximus VIII Hero

Hello 🙂 have motherboard Asus Maximux VIII Hero and i7 6700K cpu.and when i playing games my voltage go too high 1.450v(witcher 3)but in my bios it is saying that my voltage is 1.312v.Is ok or do i need to change voltage?if i need to change how to do so?i never changed voltege in my life.Thanks

what bios version do you have installed? are you on Auto voltage mode or adaptive??

Auto and bios is 1001

yeah same happened to me, voltage was going all over the place. i set my cpu voltage to Manual and 1.26V

yeah no problem, just go into your UEFI, find "CPU Core/Cache Voltage" under the "Extreme Tweaker" tab and set it to Manual Mode. a new textbox will appear right under it called "CPU Core Voltage Override", select it and type in 1.26. thats it, just exit and save.
if you experience instability with this voltage (i dont think you will) slightly increase it by 0.01 or 0.02 and check again

Look for the Extreme Tweaker tab in the BIOS. Change CPU Core/Cache Voltage from Auto to Manual Mode. Input the desired voltage into the CPU Core Voltage Override option.

I set it to manuel and number to 1.350 and save it then run Real bench but nothing changed.again is going to 1 4.see in the picture.Vcore voltage is 1.350 and litle more and coreVID is 1.410 is that ok?
