Help with TridentZ - DDR4-3200 CL14 on Maximus VIII formula

Explicit

Hello guys,

I recently finished my new build and to my surprise when I go to boot I was greeted with Qcode 55 on the maximus viii formula. I couldn't get it work so I ended up booting up with a DDR4-2400 stick and that works fine. Does anyone have any recommendations so I can get the DDR4-3200 working? I've updated the bios to the latest version, Enabled XMP, tried a DRAM VTT voltage increase with a CPU overclock, nothing is working. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know what numbers you'd use for the overclocking. Thanks.

Hi Explicit

With the trident z ram installed have you tried clearing the cmos then booting?

Yes, Still displays Qcode 55

I have the exact same kit, just selected XMP Profile, and set Maximus Tweak Mode 2 and manually changed Command Rate to 1, no problems at all, ran memtest with all cores and everything passed...

Were you able to enter the bios with the kit installed? I can not enter bios at all. Motherboard just shows Qcode 55 and won't post.

CMOS needs to be cleared when changing out memory kits.

Loosen the screws on your CPU cooler.

Check the motherboard CPU socket for bent or broken pins.

Try latest bios 1701. Its solve my issue with Kingstone predator 4x4 3000mhz ram. Before i can run them only on 2666mhz xmp2 profile. Now without any problem with aditional tuning on 3000 mhz
