OK I can check. I used the CPU installation tool to make sure there was no pin mistakes. I'll loosen it now.

I loosened it without any change. Again, if I take out all the memory, the system beeps as expected. I have 16GB (4x4GB) version of RipJaw V's landing tomorrow. Before I remove the CPU and inspect pins, I'm going to try that first. I'm scared of making a mistake or making things worse. Plus I don't have much of my Arctic Silver left. If the 16GB kit does not work, I'll dig deeper into the CPU inspection.

Hello ozy311It's possible your cpu waterblock is too tight causing uneven pressure on the cpu and could be causing code 55. If it's not booting with one stick this could be the problem or you may have some bent cpu socket pins.
If loosening your waterblock a touch doesn't help, remove your waterblock and cpu and inspect the cpu socket for any bent or misaligned pins. Use a magnifying glass in good light, look close and carefully.
