SupremeFX is for me good reason to someone who don't have dedicate sound card pay attention on ROG motherboard over other option.
But always when I look motherboards, mATX or E-ATX I immediately search for x4 or x1 PCI-E slot for dedicate sound card and SupremeFX is only plus
just in case if sound card die, before buy new one, etc...
I mean if someone pay 600-700-800$ for graphic card, no reason to avoid 100$ worth PCI-Ex1 Sound Cards with clearer sound.
Special because one Sound Card could stay 6-7-8 years and no need for fast upgrade as graphic cards.

Seems , mobo is now working correctly with generic audio driver ( through windows update ) and its now powerfull as well before ( officially realtek driver + sonic sound ) , on 1202 beta bios ,
Anyway , im worse of buy this products after 20 years later of my first mobo , asus .
How much a company can ignore the customers ! Fans or any one who spend money to buy this mobo ,

Z170x chipset was a terrible mistake ,
Sorry for asus ,
Do not buy any VIII HERO OR VIII HERO ALPHA ,
if you did it so ,
you are the free and best jack a s s testers only ,

Asus released a new version of the Sonic Suite drivers today. You guys should see if those fix the issues you are having.
