Building a new build for a friend have plugged in everything turned on the pc getting code 99 boot led have tried the following
Removing ssd and hdd - no luck
Removing video card - no luck
Removing cmos battery then putting back in - no luck
Double checked the 8 pin power cable is connected - no luck
Double checked all other cables plugged in - no luck
Removed all ram and tried 1 stick - no luck
I am really hoping the cpu or board are not dead
Can anyone give me any suggestions on what to do ?
Thing to note
*I didn't use the plastic tool to sit the cpu onto motherboard its not mandatory right ?*
*Graphics card fans don't spin when power pc but its connected to power and even when gcard removed still boot led issue*

Issue resolved
The message was informing me about raid however i didn't see it because the monitor never turned on it was 1 of those fancy 1's with no buttons and a hidden button behind so the whole time the screen just wasn't turned on sigh
After turning on screen everything worked perfectly
