I do not know why.
I have Win 10 pro Uefi on M.2 ssd, 2 hdd in raid, an other ssd and an other hdd. (Raid rom loaded at boot time)

No, i don't have other keyboard.

Asus UEFI has so many problem, but Asus ignore to fix, they push the problems to product manufacturers and doesn't care user.

can we request a asus rep forward this issue to asus so that a fix be added to next bios update ?
surely they can get hold of a corsair rgb k70 kb and cm quickfire and see it gives issue on cold start

I purchase Belkin USB HUB from the online shop. I receive it just now. I try to simple test turn off pc completely (Enable S5 in BIOS). Some user in corsair forum posted it can fix by using usb hub, i try to purchase usb hub to test.

turn off extension socket that connect with monitor, pc and usb hub external source. It seem like can solve this issue.

It can extrapolate this issue must cause from Asus UEFI surely that topic on USB Protcol (USB Handshaking and timer).

** Okay after I test 10 times for this solution.

- Shut down my pc
- Switch off extension socket that connect with monitor, pc and usb hub external source.
- Wait 5 minutes
- Turn on my pc

I found when i connect keyboard with usb hub full connection (usb+external power) it's working ok, don't have
any problem and connect only usb port ot pc. It has a problem. The other brand may be manage better than
Asus UEFI firmware.

My hypothesis focuses on usb power current draw to keyboard mechanical keyboard alway has more power
consumption than normal keyboard. This issue concern usb management control on motherboard.

I will conclude this issue as soon as possible. In Tomorrow i will test this solution again when i get up on the morning.

k70 rgb have 2 methods of connecting to pc, u must connect both kb usb ports if using usb 2, if using usb 3, u must connct only the 1 kb usb cable to usb 3 port.
i tried both methods, same issue.

Oh! UEFI version 0508 hasn't the problem. Asus must do some joke to user surely.

I ever try to rollback to UEFI version 1308. It doesn't work.

My solution, you will have usb hub with external power source( i use Belkin usb hub f4u040sa).

- Connect it to back I/O Panel .

- Connect keyboard to usb hub and connect external power source to usb hub.

- Shut down PC

- Switch off all of power source that connect to your pc.

- Wait 5-30 minutes

- Turn on PC

- See the result

The latest test i turn off my pc approximate 10 HR. I turn off my pc at noon. It's work no problem "No keyboard detected".

Now you have 2 way.

1. Try to buy the usb hub with external power to test it. (Even it doesn't work you can plug/unplug at usb hub easier than plug/unplug at back I/O panel.)

2. Wait Asus fix this issue. (I think no way, Asus ignore this issue surely they think it's very nonsense for them)
