Can it fix first boot (No Keyboard Detected)?

I try to disable AS media too, but it don't work. (AS media control usb 3.1 may not concern USB 2.0/3.0)

Now i find the only way to fix it. Unplug usb port and plug it again.

even when i restart the issue is ongoing, even when powerd off completely ( remove psu cable) issue is ongoing.
i thought it was fixed earlier but i did not remove psu cable.
so it seems that when kb is detected in windows by removing kb usb cable and putting it back in, and quickly power off, quickly power pc back on, it detects.
otherwise it does not detect.

so i have double checked now,
when kb is detected in windows by removing usb cable, insert usb cable, and quickly power off pc, quickly power on pc, it detects.

when pc is powerd off completely and psu cable removed ( until mobo power led light goes off ) and power on pc, kb does not detect.

so as long as there is power to mobo even when pc is off,( psu cable is plugged in or psu power button is on) kb will detect.
but as soon as mobo has no power from psu( psu cable removed or psu power button is off) kb is not detected.
it means that bios does not store kb detect setting from cold start....

Yes, sir i tested these way same as you. This problem will from UEFI firmware surely.

I try to test on the others brand Gigabyte/MSI/Asrock , these mainboards don't have this problem.

Yesterday i contact to Asus team support. They say this problem can't handle on responsible of Asus, the keyboard manufacturer should be fix on them product Dammit i'm so angry Asus unworthy ROG(Republic of Gamer).
Asus don't care feeling of customer.

if my corsiar rgb k70 gives same issue, i dont think its a kb manufacturer issue.but i will see if i can update my kb firmware now, then test again, if there is a firmware update for my kb

I think corsair will fix not this problem, because this problem cause from Asus UEFI firmware.

There aren't any problem in the others brand of mainboard. This problem can fix by Asus only.

spoke too soon, my issue is ongoing, same exact issue,
mobo viii hero. bios 1402
when pc is powerd off completely, when booting up, kb is not detected.
must be a bios bug i gues.
im in same boat.tried kb in usb 2 ports and usb 3 ports.

thought it was solved but it not.

I try these configuration on my Maximus VIII Hero (firmware 1402).

It's not work when i turn on my pc (1st boot). It shows "No keyboard detected".

In your apm configuration, what' value of ErP ready do you set?

My board is Maximus VIII Gene with 1402 bios.

ErP ready DISABLED
Power on by ... All DISABLED

With this setting on my pc keyboard work fine, no problem.
When i swith off my pc i disconnect alway the PSU cable.

Do you connect usb port over back IO/Panel or connect to external use port hub?
