change these settings in BIOS
Extreme Tweaker\DRAM Timing Control\Maximus Tweak -> Mode 1 (this setting's availability depends on which motherboard you have, you did not state exact model)
Extreme Tweaker\CPU VCCIO Voltage -> 1.2V (start with 1.2V, increase step by step if necessary)
Extreme Tweaker\CPU System Agent Voltage -> 1.25V (start with 1.23V, increase step by step if necessary)
Extreme Tweaker\DRAM Voltage -> leaving this setting alone should be fine, but you may have to up it to 1.36V or a little more to get stability
you can leave AI Overclock Tuner to "XMP", usually you don't have to manually set the RAM timings with the right voltages set

I am wondering if you have any advice for my build. I have a Maximus Ranger VIII and am using Patriot 3600 memory. I am able to run the memory fine using 3200, but anything above that is unstable.
I tried to reproduce the settings you mentioned here but haven't had much luck. Its a little frustrating because in a no-boot situation I need to clear CMOS and start all over again.
Can you point me to the exact settings in my motherboards bios that I need to change to get this to work?
