Boot up problem ?

I built my system around 5 months ago and I seem to be bumming in to and issues from time to time.

I keep booting up my computer and it hangs with a flashing _ and the Q code is AE.

I have checked the BIOS and my primary Boot-up is the SSD, external storage and my DVD drive.
A quick reboot seems to fix this but it's a pain xD

Here is my specs

CPU: I7 6700K Skylake 4.0Ghz 4 Core 4 Threads
Water Cooler: Corsair H100I GTX with 2x Asaka Pirahna 120m PWM
RAM: 16GB Vengeance Pro 3200Mhz DDR4
GPU: GTX 980Ti EVGA Classified Overclock 1.2Ghz 6GBs GDDR5 7096Mhz
Motherboard: ROG Asus Maximus Ranger Z170
Hard Drive/SSD:420GB HyperX Savage - 1TB Western Digital Black Performance Drive
Monitor: 24 Inch HD LCD 1980/1080 144hz with Nividia G-Sync - 3D Visions
IO: Razer Deathadder, Razer Black Widow, Xbox 360 Wired controller and Corsair Cloud X Headset

Also I am thinking of upgrading to Windows 10 soon.

Is anything (besides the memory) overclocked?

Are you running the XMP profile or manual memory settings?
Intel i9 10850K@ 5.3GHz
ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E
Corsair H115i Pro XT
G.Skill TridentZ@ 3600MHz CL14 2x16GB
EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FWT3 Ultra
OS: WD Black SN850 1TB NVMe M.2
Storage: WD Blue SN550 2TB NVMe M.2
EVGA SuperNova 1200 P2
ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601

I have just had a look and it is currently set to 2133Mhz both sticks.

There is 1 X.M.P profile that is not enabled.

This could be the problem, I have noticed that my Xbox 360 controller LED are flashing when it hangs.

So I will unplug it and see how it goes.
