Boot screen Info

lolwtf
Level 7
I have a question.

I install on SSD Windows 10, using fast boot, uefi, GPT, etc.
It is normal that when I start the PC appears: "Please press del or f2 to enter uefi bios setting"

I set in bios:
Fast boot: Enable
Next boot after ac power loss: Fast boot
CSM: Disable

Can disable this screen?

Thanks

Hello lolwtf

If you did a UEFI install go to the boot tab and select "windows boot manager" as the first boot device.

I make this, but when boot my pc:

First screen show ROG logo and message "Please press del or f2 to enter uefi bios setting"

Second screen show ROG logo with windows animation loading

Next windows is ready

It is normal?
My old mainboard MSI show directly second screen, for enter to bios must use windows reboot menu.

In UEFI set Boot Logo Display->[Disabled] then you don't get the message "Please press del or f2 to enter uefi bios setting"

By default Z170 bios settings go through sequential memory training upon start up.

Yeah that's how it's supposed to boot, if you can boot to windows you're good to go.

Sorry, my english not good...

Ok, boot sequence is ok.

I post this question because with my old z97 MSI board, with same OS and SSD boot is more speed.

Boot time on the Z170 platform is longer because of DDR4 memory training.
