I also did not like the performance of 3703 it just didn't feel the same
I rolled back to version 2202 using the AFUDOS.exe method (basically flashed the Bios in Dos)
I made a tutorial and im actually using the Maximus VIII Hero in it
if you just want to rollback to 3401 you can do that in the bios using EZ Flash but to go back to v2202 you cant, so this method is good and easy
