Bios 3703

I am running on the Maximus VIII hero alpha. In regards to the specter/meltdown security issue,
if I update my management engine driver and run the update tool, am I safe with 3504 BIOS, or am I not fully
safe until ASUS releases the 3703 BIOS?

I realized when changing bios adaptive mode is only there if svid enabled. Ha

So I flashed 3703 which says it's build date is 12/27/2017 so no fixes?? Also it removes adaptive mode overclocking...

The fixes have been in the works long before the 27th of Dec last year so yes 3703 does indeed contain the fixes and adaptive mode may disappear if you disable svid.

Owners MAXIMUS VIII EXTREME tell me, this new bios is safe, there are no serious problems with you, can you boldly bet it?

As your wish, my lord.

List of problems after version 2202: VRAM incorrect voltage (1.4v), CPU Incorrect temperature (10ºC above normal), CPU incorrect voltage (0.080v idle sometimes), unstable OC. What to do?

Start by updating any existing thread you started instead of "me too" posts that do nothing. You must fix your board. 🙂

I just hoped the last update would fix this problem, but it did not. I have seen several cases that are similar to mine, with no solution.

I don't think the cpu could work in windows with 0.08V, the idle voltage I have is +-0.8V.
Try to use HWinfo64 to measure those values and maybe redo your OC.

All good here 🙂

Yup, all working great here too. Some users seem to be experiencing storage slowdowns but I don't seem affected by that on the M8Hero-Alpha. My 960 Pro is running full speed. Great, stable, release!
