ASUS MAXIMUS VIII RANGER and Corsair LINK stuttering

Hello, it's been a week that I'm experiecing stuttering at Windows startup. The system hangs for about 1-2 seconds after getting responsive, it freeze when Corsair LINK is loaded.

What I've tried until now:
- Update BIOS
- Update all drivers for my motherboard from the ASUS page
- Clear CMOS / reset the BIOS
- Memtest with no errors
- Re-installed all ME / MEI / Graphics drivers

I've installed two additional fans + two fans for the CPU cooler (Corsair H100i v2), plugged the two CPU fans into the CPU_FAN slot and the USB cable of the AIO into the USB3 Slot of the motherboard as shown in the Corsair manual.
There are some problem with LINK:
1. I see two slots for each fans plugged into the motherboard:

2. Initially the H100i v2 fan speed was 0 rpm no matter which profile I apply, it won't change the fan speed, only the Pump speed can be regulated. So I disabled the CPU Qfan control from the BIOS and I can regulate the fan speed from LINK.

3. Everytime LINK is started at boot will freeze the system for 1-2 seconds.

Can you help me fixing these and set up correctly the BIOS and the motherboard? Thanks.

I've set everything on MSI mode but it doesn't fix the problem.

are you using Crosair software? if so just Remove it.

use this software to calculate your latency and tell you exactly what is causing it

also use this post to do it right

I don't think I have latency issues... it is just at Windows startup I got a freeze when LINK is launched

What do I need to do? How can this software detect the lag at startup?

I'm skeptical about that.

BTW what did you solve using that software?

half solved and made pc much mmore responsivness while gaming because it disables all power saving options while gaming.

while using desktop it runs to power saving options on.

but the ultimate solution for me is to UNINSTALL Corsair software because its just more bloatware crap

Personally I set a custom Corsair Link profile then in the options click the button to set it as the default running configuration. After that I close the program and never let Windows load Link unless I need to make a change.

This helped a lot with the massive page faults within LatencyMon I was getting.

Corsair Link does do some useful and nifty (and yes, also useless) things. So it's not entirely "bloatware crap".

It's just buggy and malfunctional, causes faults and conflicts with other hardware. If Corsair properly debugged it then it wouldn't be "crap" at all.

My advice in my first post was to unplug and uninstall the Corsair Link. To confirm whether it causes/resolves your issues, if nothing else.
