As the thread title suggests, my question is regarding the capability of the RVE to combine wireless and wired (Ethernet) to get more throughput on my LAN. And in particular, I am referring to doing backups (moving 200+ GB HDD images) between my FreeNAS storage server, other computers on my local network, and the storage HDDs attached to my RVE.
I am wondering if this is possible - and if there is any real advantage. If so, how big of a pain is it to set up?
I know motherboards exist that have the dual Ethernet ports and you can set up link aggregation to certain (dual Ethernet) NAS boxes for higher throughput.
