Windows 10 and DTS Connect!

Yesterday I've updated to Windows 10, but I can't get DTS connect over S/PDIF to work. On 8.1 the S/PDIF and DTS connect were working perfectly, but not on Windows 10. I've installed the latest audio drivers from ASUS support site.

Using Windows 10 Update = not working DTS connect over S/PDIF after that I did clean Windows 10 install = not working DTS connect over S/PDIF. Total 6 clean installs until now with latest drivers from ASUS site, again clean install with latest Realtek drivers from their site, and again same procedure from newest drivers from station-drivers = not working S/PDIF and DTS connect. ASUS has to resolve this ASAP. I've tried another few clean installs with drivers from 8.1 that I know were working in Windows 8.1, but on Windows 10 is a no go.

Hi,

According to MS (John at MS posted this on the insider forum), the DTS over optical issue is not a Realtek one, but a MS issue. There is supposedly a fix, but no date was mentioned.

is there any update on this ?

This is taking forever.

still waiting for an update for this bug. it is the only win10 bug for me but it is killing my gaming experience compared to what it was like with win8.1.

My DTS over optical works fine wth encoded mkv files, but not with DTS Interactive 5.1 for gaming.

Between the DTS issues and my G-Series keyboard not behaving I've dropped back to Win 8.1. I'm certain fixes will come, they always do. There are always growing pains when a new OS is released, but, it's frustrating nonetheless.

This is so frustrating. Good thing I spent all that money on a custom 5.1 system that's now been rendered completely ****ing useless after updating to 10.

Hello

Microsoft has stated that both the issue is on their end and they are also working on a fix. In the meantime if this is unacceptable use a different version of Windows.

Yay! I have missed it something fierce, but surround gaming works so much better on Win 10 I had chosen to stick with the missing DTS sound until it gets fixed.
