I am liking the 1902 bios as I can clock higher with less voltage than before. The only thing that I find annoying id the long delay to post beep on a start up after machines been shut down for a while. Lot longer than in 1501 bios I had

Strix X870e-e / AMD 9800x3d / Gskill 32gb 6000 / Crucial T705 / ASUS Prime 9070 XT / Lian Li 011 compact / Lian Li Hydroshift AIO / Lian Li Platinum 1300 psu / Windows 11 24h2

I played around with 1902 a little more today. I found I can run the clock a little higher if I take out 4 memory modules. I was running 4.7Ghz (1.36v, didn't stress it) with only 32GB installed. I didn't tweak it any, but it consistently booted. I can't do that with 1701. However, I can't get past 4.2Ghz with 64GB installed. I'm staying on 1701, I'd rather run at 4.5Ghz (1.3v) with 64GB of memory and know it's stable.

When this BIOS come to the R5E 3.1?

I've been using the modded 1902 and never had a problem. My OC is great and the heat is way down compared to 1801. Windows 10 has never crashed unless I go crazy with the OC. 4.3 adaptive CPU and 4.0 adaptive cache pull almost 5AMPS off the UPS when under full loading and the CPU is showing almost double the watts consumed 260W.

Adaptive cache is finally fixed?

For real? ITS THE SAME BOARD, with a usb3.1 addon card.

I thought there are something different on this board. Because the addon card doesnt work with the old R5E.

And then newest BIOS is not available in the R5E 3.1's drivers download section.

From revision 1302 and onwards, the BIOS is the same for both motherboards.

I'm using 1902 modded, can anyone recommend some standard settings for a decent overclock of my cpu ?

No such thing as each CPU is different.

This is what i have.
125 bclk
36 multiplier
1.28 cpu voltage

ddr4 3000 selected
15-15-15-35 2t on dram timings
1.35v
1.16 v on system agent

I have the same setup as you with chip and gpu.

fast boot is off and ram timings manual.

Heres an article on bclk and memory timings. Shows why you may need 125 to reach 3000 with 2400 memory.

Adaptive cache has always sorta kinda worked (at leastx since i got my system in June 2015), its just extremely difficult to get truly stable, so much so it's hardly worth trying. I very much doubt a 4.0 adaptive cache would be stable enough for, say, 4 hours OCCT. Still, here's hoping I'm wrong.
