Use Flashback for which you must download the file with 1701, rename it to R5E.CAP and use fat32 formatted usb pendrive, plug it in usb 2.0 farest from clear cmos button and with the machine off but plugged to electricity, push ez plug button near clear cmos until it starts blinking, then wait until it stops and start your pc.

It is recommended to clear cmos before flashing, and after too, once it has passed post.

I tried modded 1801 a while back and went back to 1701 because I wasn't stable, but then later discovered that the OC settings I had weren't really stable yet at 1701 either. I have become convinced over the last couple months that my latest 1701 OC settings were in fact rock solid stable, so I decided to give modded 1801 another go. Those same OC settings just survived 3 hours 20 minutes of OCCT under modded 1801. Good enough for me to keep it.

I'm not going to spend a lot of time seeing if I can drop any voltages as some people claimed they were able to because, well, if I could, then that first attempt would've probably worked.

I don't use Raid, but I used your version anyway, Gonzo, so +rep to you 🙂

EDIT: I don't know if it's a coincidence, I made a couple other changes at the same time, but for the first time I'm able to get past 20 minutes on OCCT with a 4.5 overclock. Woohoo! At 50 minutes now. I'm going to make another thread with the details, as I'd like some opinions on what's safe for 24/7.

It isn't my BIOS this time, I just brought it here with 170x and let someone else go mod this one 🙂

best of luck with 4.5, you are tempting me now!
