Change in memory rules. Unless you're tuning things manually, these things are par for the course. I wouldn't get strung up on the bandwidth benchmark when the real-world differences are extremely negligible.

Make sure to keep AIDA up to date, also. The benchmark isn't always accurate.

Sorry ELIESEH...just to be clear...you are using EZ flash in the BIOS...if so how did you flash 1701? I might be wrong but thought you couldn't go back in BIOS numbers using EZ flash?

Or you switching BIOS chips?

Anyway...if I were you I'd download a fresh 1801 BIOS...extract and rename..and put on pendrive...but do this to pendrive first

...and use BIOS Flashback to update BIOS

Worth a try

Forgot to say...probably best to clear CMOS before and after the flash by the way...

I used EZ flash on that board only once and spent two days troubleshooting little niggles and crashes...until I re-flashed using BIOS flashback. The flash took but something was obviously not right. I haven't used EZ flash since, though many many do with no problems. But BIOS Flashback on a disparted pendrive has not failed me yet...

I will clear cmos (short circuit 2 pin on my board) and i will remove the battery before and after.
Question, do i need to have the Power supply connected to the power wall? I know my pc should be off.

On the RVE10..you have a dedicated clear CMOS button on I/O panel...no nasty jumpers on top of the range board LOL.

And yeah...computer not on but board powered...soft off it's called...you know...when the lights are on the start button etc.

nothing helped, i tried asus flashback bios 😞 same result.
thanks for your help

i will go back to bios 1701, why do i need to lose 30% performance in write and copy ! tried in aida64 and userbenchmark
Don't know what asus did, decrease the copy and write performance to increase stability ?

Hmmm...was trying to find pics of before 1801 to compare here...seems weird

This was on 1801 for me
71422

I'll try and find pre...

EDIT: can't find previous BIOS at same settings...I delete this stuff as soon as post :o...but at least you can see the drop is not so large for me at least in write and copy

thank u so much for your help.

I do not know what the Logitech thing means...but I use a logitech keyboard and mouse and they both worked fine before and after 1801...so unless you actually have a problem with it I would say you don't need to update at all.

I just don't understand the performance difference you are seeing...and can't think of something that could cause that much of a difference!

😮 heh...the intel OC...just for validation...quick overclock on very cold water...

Have you run AIDA at stock...no OC...on 1701 and 1801...?
