Hey guys, just letting anyone know who's only gonna get a 5820K (if anyone will) there is no PLX chip on the RVE for more than 3way SLI.

Since the 5820K only has 28 PCIe lanes, the max you can enjoy is 3way x8/x8/x8, or 2 way x16/x8 or single x16.

Though i'm sure most owners won't be getting a 5820K though haha.

I'm not sure if that's true. I actually do not think NewEgg had that many, I noticed at noon EST when the NDA lifted they very briefly listed the product in stock (~3 minutes), and offered several bundles. Furthermore, my local Micro Center does not carry this product. Amazon also does not have any boards either.

Can anyone confirm that they have ordered this board or have one in hand?

Same at all Microcenters, they always have the lowest prices for CPU's but it is in store price only and a limit of 1 per person, I went to the Irvine store yesterday and picked one up. The selection of motherboards is limited at the moment
