Chino, no, wasn't talking about SVID. (Where/what is SVID?)

I found it. Under Extreme Tweaker -> Internal CPU Power Management:

"CPU Integrated VR Fault Management". Info says "Disable this item to prevent the FIVR (fully integrated voltage regulator) from tripping when doing overvoltage. It is recommended to disable this item when overclocking."

Never seen anyone mention it before. Got any knowledge about it? Thanks in advance.

Public service announcement: Disable EPU Power Saving. My adaptive 4.4Ghz 1.28v overclock that can withstand 8 hours of OCCT testing crashes within 3 minutes if I enable that setting. If I weren't already at my temperature comfort zone (max 74c in OCCT) with that OC, I'd feel obligated to retry all my previous higher OC attempts because I'm not sure when I had that setting enabled.

Hello !
I passed realbench with my i7 5960 x @ 4.5 Ghz and 32 GO of trident Z @ 3200 Ghz 14-14-14-32 (XMP) without error, but I get a few errors with HCIMemtest.
WIch one must I trust ?

HCI Memtest is good for testing memory overclocks. Yours seems to be unstable if errors come up.

What about realbench ?

realbench is fine for benchmarks and stress testing. But only one error in HCI memtest deems your ram as unstable, might want to change the clocks a little

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help with this.
I've got an RE 5 on the way along with an i7 5930k which I hope to OC to about 4.5 or below
A little confuse on which memory to get; I hear Gskill is good and also see some peeps using Corsair

Would this memory work, wit that CPU and Mobo to achieve a stable OC at around 4.5?
G.SKILL F4-3000C15Q2-32GRK 32GB(4GB*8)

PS reason for 32 is work plus gaming

Any advice would be most welcome

thanks

Hey all,

I'm trying to eek a bit more out of my 5930k.
Currently I got it at 4.4 GHz at 1.32V. I was told to put my uncore to the same 1.32. My override is at 1.2v and Input voltage at 1.9v.
I'm running Corsair 2800MHz DDR4 ram at 3000MHz using the XMP profile.
I'm dead stable with these setttings.

I can get to 4.5 upping the voltage to 1.35 and while it is fairly stable about 3/4 of the time using the REALBENCH 1 hour test. If it fails it is in the last 10 minutes. Raising the voltages voltages past this point really doesn't change anything and I don't want to go much higher.
I'm on water cooling so temperatures is not a problem.

I'm wondering if there is anything under EXTREME Tweaking that I can adjust to better stabilize my computer at 4.5?

Thanks,

Ron
