STRIX X99 GAMING unknown device

Does anyone have any idea what this device could be? I can't get Windows to update it.

Have you installed the Wi-FI? Sorry i'm trying to translate all of that but i'm not seeing Wi-Fi.

Yes. Windows could install the WIFI. It says it is an ACPI device. I am wondering what that could be.

When you installed the drivers did you do so one at a time or do them all from the disk/USB drive? If you did it from the drive and chose all, then it is something that isn't ASUS motherboard related.

If you didn't, I suggest load up the setup disk and see what still has a check mark showing that it needs to be installed still. Normally if something hasn't been installed when you do the setup disk it will list the things yet to be installed and should give you your answer.

Thanks man. It was it. Intel(R) Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0.

I don't have a CD/DVD drive, so I was using Asus download page, but this driver is not there. But I followed a suggestion which was clicking and checking the hardware ID, then Googling it.

Like Arne said, might be intel turbo boost. Had a similar question on reinstall recently:

Yeah .. like I said put in the Asus Setup disk and see what still has the check mark next to it. Then you can either install it or disable the notification. 🙂
