Strix x99 gaming stopped posting!

Hi everyone! I built a new CPU back in December. Everything was running fine until about 2 months ago it just died on me. I went to bed one night, woke up the next morning to my CPU off and wouldn't start back up. I just got a replaced mother board (asus strix x99) from asus directly. Got everything out back together and it is still doing the same thing. Just power cycles. Turns on for a second. Then turns off. Turns on. Is this motherboard known for having problems or is my processor gone bad? My build is*

Asus strix GTX 1070OC
Intel I7-6800k
Corsair ddr4 3200mhz vengeance led 32GB(4- 8 GB sticks)
Corsair *H115i
Samsung 960 pro m.2
Samsung 850 pro ssd
EVGA 1000w PSU

If anyone has any idea as to what could be the issue I would greatly appreciate the help. I've tested memory, power supply, video card. I've even dropped it off at micro center to have then run a diagnostics. They said it is either the motherboard, or the processor.I would also like to point out that none of lights indicating i have a hardware issue are on. So i do not believe my issue is with any of my hardware. I would also like to note that i have sent the board back to ASUS TWO TIMES ALREADY!!!! First time i believe they sent me a new or refurbished board, when i got this board none of the LEDS light up. So i sent it back to them, they said there is nothing wrong with it. Sent it back to me, LEDS light up, but computer wont post still. Get back on the phone with ASUS run through there stupid check list for the 3rd time, point out again that none of the LEDS are on for hardware failure, Rep says it sounds like motherboard so need to do another RMA on it. The Q-CODE has remained at 00 with all of the boards, the one i purchased, the one they sent me, and the one they sent me back. I cannot get into bios or anything, the screen is blank. Im at a lose for words and beyond frustrated. please help!

Hi Rieds

So you've tried three motherboards and tested the psu, that only leaves the cpu to cause code 00.

RMA the cpu and give us an update when you get your replacement.

Thank you so much for the reply! I believe i have tried 2 motherboards, the first time I did the RMA they said they sent a replacement board, this board i feel was defective because when i plugged it in the RBG lighting effects that they have on the Strix and rampage board did not light up, and even the rep from ASUS said the RBG lights should be on. NOW the next board they sent me (the third one) was the same as the 2nd board they sent me. So nothing was fixed(so I think, and so does the Asus rep who did another RMA for me.The original board that i bought from day 1 had the RBG lights on even when my computer decided to die on me, the RBG lights where still on and flashing like normal (Even though the computer was off). I have swapped out the PSU to see if that is bad, I have swapped out the memory to see if that was bad, and graphics card. All are fine and are not the problem. The only thing i haven't been able to test has been the CPU. I have tried replacement Strix board that ASUS sent me but i belive that board was defective as well, based on the fact that the RBG lights did not come on when i plugged it up, and the fact that it still just power cycles non stop, turns on for a second or two then turns off, turns on, turns off. I am worried that it could be the CPU, however the board does not give me any RED LED lights that indicate there is a problem with the CPU, memory, or video card. The motherboard has LED lights next to the DIMM slots that will light up red if there is a problem with the CPU, memory, or video card. The rep from ASUS even said that if these lights are not on there is not a problem with the hardware, it sounds like the motherboard. Now as NIXON2992 mentioned in his above reply, I was using XMP, however im not getting the RED LED light for the CPU being dead but i do still have the Q-code 00. Please forgive me for the lengthy reply, I am just trying to give you and everyone the most info so you guys can help lol. I thank you again for your time and help, it is greatly appreciated. I have sent my board back for another RMA, and I have also been waiting to do an RMA on the CPU as well, Im going to try the board they send me back one more time before i RMA the CPU. Im just really hoping its not the CPU...never had one die on me before :(. I will let you guys know what happens, it'll probably be two weeks before i get the motherboard back.

If Q-code 00 an red led lighting cpu guaranteed die, you use XMP? Normaly Broadwell-E death after enable XMP from overvoltage SA(voltage > 1.005v, approximately 1.25 or 1.35 if enabled XMP, and voltages on auto.

Thank you so much for your reply! Yes i was using XMP, however i never got a RED LED indicating that the CPU was bad, just the Q-code 00. Are Broadwell-E death common in this CPU when using XMP? i have read about this possibility before. If this is the case do you know if Intel will still cover it under warranty?! I would also like to add that I have had the Q-code 00 when she first died on me, and with the other boards that i have gotten in from asus as "replacements" all have given Q-code 00, but none of the boards give me the RED LED for the CPU, MEMORY, or the Video card. Let's cross our fingers and hope it works when you get another replacement, if it still throws code 00 then you know it's the cpu.

If it does happen to be my CPU do you have any idea why I wouldn't be getting the red light on my board telling me it's the processor?

1)VCCSA always will be around 1.005 from modules with speed greater than 3000.
2)VCC DRAM for modules with speed less them 2600 will be 1.2 v, if greater maximum critical voltage 1.35v.
3)Digi + VRM phase for ram with overclock (great 2133) Wil be Extreme.
This is solution for fix suddenly death Broadwell-E.

Interestingly enough I've had this very same thing happen 3 times with my Strix X99 Gaming motherboard and i7-6850K. Every time I went to bed with the computer working perfectly and woke up to the very same symptoms you describe. I hit the power button and it will sit there and cycle power on/off repeatedly without EVER going to POST. I filled out the RMA form the first time and just forgot to send the board back because I have another X99 motherboard I could use. After a couple months I put my 5820K in the Strix and it still wouldn't boot. I reflashed the bios multiple times and changed the ram all of which did nothing. I ultimately pulled the battery from the motherboard and left it alone for a couple days. Came back and powered it on while holding the memOK! button and it booted up normally. I've had to do the same thing twice since then. Every single time I've gotten Q-code OO and every single time both my CPU's have been fine (5820K and 6850K). I've replaced every single part every time it's done it trying to troubleshoot and it has made no difference. I've used AX1200i, AX860i, CX750, and 750G2 PSU's all of which work perfectly with my other PC's and it didn't fix the issue. The only way I *THINK* I resolved the problem was removing the motherboard battery for a couple days, clearing CMOS, and booting with the MemOk! button. I'm still using both the CPU's and they still function perfectly.
