Some back USB3 Ports not working

I have a problem my 2nd row of back usb3 ports they are not working at all devices connected to them are totally dead in and out of windows

according to the manual these are ports USB3_E56_E78

the 4 above them and the 2 below are working fine not sure why these are not i checked the bios and those ports are showing up as enabled

i am using a 5930k have SLI 780s and a X-Fi Titanium HD in the bottom red slot X8_4 i also have 2 SSDS and 3 HDDs connected so maybe the board disabled them because i have too many devices?

tried both 0802 and 0901 bios

I updated to 1701 and usb's connected to internal pins now work with Sandisk Extreme!!!

Used Gonzo updated rom uefi, no problem.

Guys is it safe to flash 1701 official bios to a rampage v extreme 3.1, since the 3.1 has latest bios the 1502 and there isn't a 1601 or 1701 on the support page of that motherboard.

EDIT: usb ports connected to internal pins work randomly again with Sandisk Extreme... 😞

I noticed some saying about the 2 usb 3 ports next to the LAN port aren't working. Just a thought, do you have an X4 card in the PCIE_X4_1 slot? If you do then the 2 usb 3 ports (E9 and E10) next to the LAN port, including sataexpress E1 and PCIE_X1_1 slot are all disabled. Nothing is broken there.

I have an x1 device in that slot, a creative SBZ card, and those ports still don't work. I tried removing that same card and they still don't work as well.

Yeah, X1 and X2 wouldn't disable the 2 usb ports except the sataexpress E1. That's the only thing I can think of.

Could we use USB 3.0 hubs if we needed them?

Anyone tried the link? Does it work?
I already got a 2nd RVE replacement...just installed it and got the same issue which was the reason for replacement. Does not work. with any of my USB pen drives. Those do work on other USB ports (even with the USB3.1 PCIe card) though.
Are the two USB ports next to the ETH wired to another controller?
The LEDs go on when I insert the pen drive, it just goes undetected by the OS.
