Hello there.
I recently received a replacement board as the other one suffered with the QCode 00 boot loop issue.
I installed this new one over the weekend updated the Bios to 1701, reinstalled windows, drivers and everything else. No problem, It shuts down and reboots no problem. Installed BF4, had a couple of rounds with a mate, decided it was bed time. So shut powered down via the start menu, power option. Monitor shut down, so thought PC would so went to loo. Came back a couple of minutes to find that it had still not shut down.
So after a further couple of minutes pressed the power button, job done. Next morning powered up as though there was no problem. But again I had the same problem that night after playing BF4.
The powering down issue only rears its head after playing a game of whatever. BF4, Batman, GTA V it does not matter. It will hang. The monitor switches off but the rest well I have to help.
But now for the interesting bit. This issue only happens when the XMP profile is turned on in the Bios.
It will shut down no problem, but as soon a the Profile is turned on no shut down.
Thanks for being patient in reading my post, but have you any idea as to how I can rid myself of this issue?
