Short descriptions only and a couple of pics celebrating your Rampage V Extreme build.

Mine: 2 x EVGA GTX 980 (different coolers), 5960x, 2 x 6 TB drives, 2 x 1 TB V-Raptor, 1 x 512 mb SSD, 1 x 512 M2 (15 tb total), Corsair H100i. 10 x fans at low RPM (300-500. Only 8 pictured, I added 2 x more fans on the bottom of the h100i). Thermaltake V51 case. Near silent at idle and very very quiet at gaming though I can hear bottom GPU fan a bit:

Edit:
Added newest pic with 4 x noctua fans at low RPM on H100i:

Do you have an online worklog?

I'm curious about how you're planning to recolour (black out) the entire R5E board. It looks superb.

Im slowly cleaning my build up.

1. Just put in the red sleeved PSU cables. These are REALLY nice to work with. They are much different from the stock PSU cables that come with the all the Corsair modular PSUs. They are way easier to make look nice, even ignoring the color. The stock cables feel like hard plastic, where as these aftermarket (even though they are from Corsair) feel like rope/string. Much nicer, but expensive. Looking at 100 USD for the set (since you have to buy the 24 pin one separately).

2. Swapped out mismatching fans in the front and bottom for all Thermaltake Pure Whites.

3. 2 x Titan X's (matching this time!!!) are arriving Wednesday which will finally eliminate the visually mismatched 980s I have now.

4. Last step is to swap out the 2 x yellow fans on the bottom of the radiator for 2 x Thermaltake Luna Reds to match the exhaust (but these are very expensive to get in germany, have to ship them from the USA or wait till the next time I am back in the states in June)

NOTE: Despite the sheer number of fans in there (nine!), the case is very quiet. All the fans (every one of them) is set to 500 RPM (or even less, in the case of the 4x fans on the rad) via Fan Xpert. So the loudest thing in the case are the dual x V-Raptor drives mounted on the back side of the mobo tray. I plan to replace these with quad x 1Tb SSDs in Raid 0 when I get the money handy.

Another note, interesting how one will sacrifice performance for looks when a case with a huge side window is involved (well, at least I will sacrifice performance for looks when I have a case with a huge side window 🙂 ... Those yellow fans, Akasa, are actually the best fans Ive ever had, including compared to the high end Notuas (which I've also ran in builds).

They spool down to low RPMs very smooth and I believe move more air than the Thermaltakes (though cant prove it of course). But damn if the Akasa's and Notuas aren't so damn UGLY! Form over function once I finally got a case with a side window!!

last mod will be to ditch the yellow fans for matching Thermaltake 140 reds (all running at 400 rpm for a silent build)

Who know about these new package Rampage 5 Extreme/U3.1.... It's same revision of motherboard only with USB 3.1 card or some new revision?

Pictures with Rampage 5 Black are excellent, but it's not enough for Black Edition only black plastic parts, now in red.
Voltage read points as on previous motherboards, maybe different heatsink, maybe even PCB, USB 3.1 Internal... if you look Rampage III Extreme Black Edition and Rampage 4 Extreme Black Edition that's completely different motherboards...compare with normal R3E and R4E.
Red slots is easy to cover with memory, maybe some waterblock for CPU or even Multi, two cards, one sound card and you will not see nothing red, almost full black but that's not Black Edition.
