Sata express ssd

Hello there ,
I want to ask if somebody use the sata express on Rampage V and if there is any big speed difference from sata3.

I think very small number of people use that. I felt connector will be removed soon and ASUS done that on revision RV 10th Edition.
I would not cry for him...:) Anyway SATA Express is inferior to PCI-E SSD and M.2 SSD. I think manufacturers will concentrate on them in future.

It seems to have been one of those short-lived fads. Maybe like SSD caching (think Z68 chipset time frame), before the SSD capacities went up and the prices went down. I don't think many people bother with SSD caching now.

Sata Express hardware / cables are tough to find, and probably expensive - and as Vlada011said, PCI-E SSD and M.2 SSD are much better (and available) options.

What I have seen recently is the SATA Express ports being used for front panel Type A and C USB 3.1
