ROG ASUS RAMPAGE V Edition 10 NEED HELP

I got the m/b when it was available in the uk and I have a few issues with it,

the port for keyboards in the back has issues, when I connect keyboards they don't work at times and I have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to work
this is temperamental so it can stop working at any time, I tried other usb ports and the issue persists.


the front panel sound Extreme FX Hi Fi, I plug it in to the usb 2 port on the mother board and power, but I cant get it to show up in the system, it did show up at 1
point but I couldn't get any sound through it.
I'm using the corsair 1500 modular power supply and it runs with my 1080 at a gentle 79 watts so the power doesn't appear to be the issue

Have you tried testing with another keyboard? I know for a fact that some keyboards don't play nice on the X99 platform.

Regarding the SupremeFX Hi Fi DAC, have you tried swapping PCIe cables or using another USB 2.0 header?

there is only one usb header on the m/b

Make sure you aren't plugging them into the red slots. Those are the 3.1 USB and the issue may be waiting for those drivers to boot as they aren't automatic when windows starts as the drivers need to load.

Try one of the blue slots first.

I'm now having the same issues, all my 3.0 ports have stopped working. They will come on and off sporadically & then they totally stop working.
