Just my two cents:
I would stress test it outside of the case with all components installed, like you should with every new component before mounting it all together.

if you allow me to, I see it a little more generally...
The ASUS ROG Series is meant to be The best of the best - The choice of the champions - The salt in your soup when looking for the ultimate!
that being said and if it came like that out of the box, I think no one over there at ASUS wants you to keep this board if you are unsure about it!
Because they want to give you a product that it as perfect as possible - that's what ROG is about...
But it is like most things - it is up to you

Hey

With the price tag associated with this board, you should call their customer's service and see what options are available to you. Defective or not, when your car is brand new does it has scratchs ? No. So i would ask for a new one if it were me.

Thanks

If that was my board, and I'd just unpacked it out of the box having bought it as a NEW product, I would return it to the place of purchase and ask for a new replacement.

You can clearly see that somebody has attempted to mount the board, and mis-aligned the case mounting pillars, scratching the underside of the PCB in the process.

Return it to the retailer for a replacement.

either a return or someone missed when lining it up on the test bed and damaged it, either way get it sent back.
