Random restarts with 3009 and 3101

I have used every single bios extensively as they have been released; all on default settings. With bios 3009 and 3101, I am experiencing random, hard resets. This doesn't happen under load; it can happen even at idle or small load. Oddly, I didn't even have this issue with the beta 3008 bios. Any suggestions as I would like to keep my bios up to date.

I've just had a PM from one of the forum administrators, with a new BIOS for me to try.

I was unable to do it right now because of the job, and when I'm home, I only play games where disconnects are critical, so I will wait with the test.

Hopefully they will decide to release it here for everyone.

I am currently running a test BIOS I received from an ASUS engineer. I will report back here with the results.

Hey, if anyone from Asus is reading this, I started this thread and still have the random restarts with every 3xxx bios. I would be glad to test out this bios if you could PM me. thanks.

I am informed by ASUS that the new BIOS will be released very soon. I have been testing this BIOS for 3 days now with no problems. I have even used some of their OC presets in the BIOS and my system remains stable.

So stay tuned folks. Help is on the way.

I can give hand too, had restarts with every 3xxx version.

Does anyone know if new Bios 3402 fixes the random restart problem?

Ok, I've been running the test bios for around an hour. I will report back here how things go.

Test bios is still running solid for me after 3 days. This is looking good so far.
