I had problem on beginning with BSOD as well. But I had problems with any change, even downclock CPU.
I will kill myself instantly if problem back when I update BIOS and install M.2 now 960 series.
But I saw at least 5-6 situation or more with absolutely same problem, ASUS X99 motherboard (not only ROG) + Haswell-EX + all kind of DDR4 result BSOD instantly after Windows Logo, BSOD pass to fast and no dump file.
ASUS probably knows where is problem, all prople finished with RMA, I will try with some tricks to fix. If problem repeat. I don't know, I didn't change nothing more than year.
BIOS is to much old, second for this board, much older than default fabric BIOS, I need never for NVMe Boot Drive Support.
I hope Samsung 960 series will become available in Hungary anywhere in any store these days and I will upgrade OS drive finaly, M.2 512 + 1TB SSD SATA III for games.
Than installation OS and finally moment of Truth. It's completely possible if that was some bug that now work after some changes step by step, one setting save, than other setting, save.
But it's good chane that problem is still there. If some many people report that ASUS probably know where is problem if that happen.
Who knows maybe is my destiny long waited Rampage V Black...
Only idiot as me wait from April to July with CPU and Memory on table to manufacturer launch Black motherboard.
