Is there a way to update without reseting the current BIOS? Every time I update all my settings are "defaulted"

You can always try the new bios on your second bios chip and see if you like it. Take a picture of your current bios settings if you want to try them on the new bios.

Hi, ive installed the new bios 1003,
i cannot boot anymore with xmp profile at 3000 mhz for my ram speed. i was running prior to this on bios 0901 and i had no issues running at rated ram speed
of my sticks at 3000 mhz, but since im on this new bios the best i can do is 2800 mhz im my gskillz 4x4 sticks 16 gig, 3000 mhz.

i while testing it seems that i could get the speed to work at 3000 mhz with only 2 sticks of ram channel A and B on bios 1003, if i tried to add channel C or D it wouldnt boot at all.

quite confusing... i assume maybe the bios is at fault because my system was working under bios 0901. anybody can help it would be appreciated.
my cpu is a 6850k.

Hello

As is common with different BIOS versions your overclock settings will need to be redone. If this is not something you wish to undertake roll back the the BIOS version that was working with the desired memory speed.

I have this weird issue since flashing to 1003.59563

What on earth is IBA? It sometimes boots to this and skips booting to my 950 pro

Boot option 1 is enabled Boot option 2 is disabled
